Psa 15:1- O LORD, who shall sojourn in your tent? Who shall dwell on your holy hill?
2 He who walks blamelessly and does what is right and speaks truth in his heart;
3 who does not slander with his tongue and does no evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his friend;
4 in whose eyes a vile person is despised, but who honors those who fear the LORD; who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
5 who does not put out his money at interest and does not take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.
Mighty God in heaven,
You are holy, and good, and mighty and perfect. You are God, and the truth that You want me to know You, and that You love me and want to commune with me . . .it’s more grace than I can fathom . . .but You do invite me to know You. You have revealed Yourself and Your ways. You love me, and You desire my best. You have a purpose for me. You have a plan . . .
Lord, I want to be equipped for service. I want to know You. I want to serve You. So please :
help me to live my life authentically — knowing that I am in Your presence always;
help me to tame my tongue and use my speech to encourage and exhort, not to tear down and diminish;
help me to not romanticize or gloss over sin;
help me to be honest and keep my promises, and not make promises I cannot keep;
help me to be generous with my time and my resources.
Lord, I want to be secure in You. You are my refuge. You are my strength. I can trust You to always do what is right.
And I love You,
