Andrew Ford

In 1998 life was hard with no peace or joy. I was trying to do things in a manner of what was good in my own eyes. I found myself broken. I was broken hearted, broken in spirit, broken in my personal relationship with my wife. This led to seeking the Scriptures and I found the wisdom and discernment that was always before me, but that I still ignored it. My Mom (and others) had been spiritual warriors in my life, so that I would return to the Lord God, Yahweh. My circumstances did not work out as I would choose, I received what I needed when I needed it and my former wife left. I now have a loving wife and two young men as sons. But the Precept-Upon-Precept Bible studies I have been involved with for more than 21 years changed my life. I found peace, joy and, yes, God’s grace in Jesus being my Lord and Master. I am always amazed how blessed my life has been with God’s goodness.  It has followed me all the days of my life (Psalm 23). I became a Precept Bible Study Leader and was asked to be a substitute leader in a Monday night class. Bringing the 5 Ws and an H to my engineering profession and to several study opportunities via small church teachings, children ministries, and Wycliffe construction mission trips have brought Truth to the light. I have been amazed at the “ah-hah” moments of fellow PUP classmates these past 21 years of studying the Bible. Students become fully engaged through the in-depth inductive method of Bible studies. Seeing classmates encouraged to use their spiritual gifting and stepping out to do those good works set before them is a great encouragement.
