My name is Amanda Kunzeman and I became a believer in 1997 when I was a senior in high school. I was influenced by the Christian walk of my cousin and I began to explore Christianity in the early days of AOL. I found the Billy Graham page on AOL as well as getting discipled online by a woman I met in a Christian forum. Because of this experience, I have a heart for online ministry and am really happy to have found Beloved Truth!

I am originally from the east coast, but I went to a Christian college in Chicago and lived there for 20+ years. There I grew a lot in my faith and was first introduced to inductive Bible study. I’ve been studying inductively for over twenty years and my first Bible is held together with purple duct tape! My undergraduate major was history and then I went to seminary and completed a Master’s in Educational Ministries.

I met my husband serving in youth ministry and we have been married for almost 15 years. We have three children, a son and two daughters. I worked in higher education for several years while I was in graduate school. After school I both volunteered in youth ministry and worked on staff in the children’s ministry, running the elementary school program. I stepped down when I began homeschooling my children.
We have been homeschooling from the beginning and my oldest is in 6th grade. I feel like homeschooling is something God has wired me to do. I enjoy supporting and talking with other families who are considering or currently homeschooling. We moved to New England two years ago and I run a small library for homeschoolers.
For fun, I enjoy inductive Bible study, reading and hunting for books, genealogy, and playing games with my family.
